Czechoslovakia – History of the State

The submitted book is the first attempt by professional historians, mainly employees of the Institutes of History of the Czech and Slovak Academies of Sciences, for a synoptic description of all of the essential components of the development of the Czechoslovak state from its birth in the course of World War I through analysis particular periods (First Republic, Second Republic, Occupation, Third Republic, Communist and Post-communist Regime) to its pacific decomposition into two successor states, Czech Republic and Slovak Republic, in 1992.
