Committee for the Publication of Medieval Diplomatic Sources
The mission of the committee is to promote the development and methods of editorial activities in the area of mediaeval diplomatic sources. It provides members with a forum for the exchange of experiences and expertise.
The committee brings together editors who publish series of important sources and, particularly, specialists who compile series of primary sources on Czech history, such as Codex diplomaticus et epistolaris regni Bohemiae, Regesta diplomatica nec non epistolaria Bohemiae et Moraviae, Regesta Bohemiae et Moraviae aetatis Venceslai IV. (1378 dec.–1419 aug. 16.), and Monumenta Vaticana res gestas Bohemicas illustrantia.
The committee comprises scholars from a variety of research centres throughout the Czech Republic, including the Institute of History of the Czech Academy of Sciences, the Faculty of Arts of Charles University in Prague, the Faculty of Arts of Masaryk University in Brno, the Faculty of Arts of the University of Ostrava, the Centre for Medieval Studies in Prague, and the National Regional Archives in Kutná Hora.
