Selection procedure – Researcher

The Director of the Institute of History of the CAS, v. v. i., announces a job opening for the position of:

Researcher (full-time, possibly part-time by agreement).

Job description: research in the field of intellectual and educational history of the early modern period; presentation of research at conferences; relevant publications with international reach; experience with projects

Qualification requirements:

University degree in history or related field, Ph.D. or equivalent, focus on the intellectual or educational history of the early modern period; study/research abroad is an advantage; good knowledge of English and one other congress language; relevant publications with a clear international impact.

We offer:

• a fixed-term contract;
• a salary of approx. 37,000–45,000 CZK gross/month (tariff); plus personal salary supplement after a probationary period, plus the possibility of involvement in grant projects
