Programme

Eighth interdisciplinary Conference of the Research on Courts and Residences in the Middle Ages of the Historical Institute of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (active from 2013) will focus on the comparison of solutions to residential issues, especially in Central Europe and the German countries in the Middle Ages and the Early Modern Age. Representatives from three research projects on court and residence issues will also speak at the conference; mentioned Research on Courts and Residences in the Middle Ages and the Project on territorial development Corona regni Bohemiae / Crown of the Kingdom of Bohemia of the Institute of Czech History of the Philosophical Faculty of Charles University in Prague and the Project Residential Cities in the Holy Empire Roman (1300–1800) of the Academy of Sciences in Göttingen. The representatives of the named research projects are also the organizers of this Conference.
