The Book is composed from three main parts. In an Introduction editor represents a person of author these memoirs, Jan Šeba, Czechoslovak officer of the Czech units in the WWI Years, and then important Czechoslovak diplomat. In the Second part followed the critical edition part of Šeba’s manuscript of his memoirs, in which he remembers about his career in the Czech Legions in Russia and then in Italy in the Years of WWI, and foremost his diplomatic career in the inter-war Czechoslovakia. He served as an Czechoslovak Envoy in the Royal Yugoslavia and then in Romania, and finish his diplomatic mission in China. The Third part of Book is created from some documents from Šeba’s hand from the years 1935–1950.
