Postilla by Petr Chelčický is one of the most famous postils in Czech history. The work contains almost sixty sermons, intended for all the Sundays of the church year and also for several other holidays. Unfortunately, the Postilla has not been preserved in its entirety and today we know it in two versions. The earlier of them is contained in a manuscript from the turn of the 15th and 16th century and records only the beginning of the liturgical year. A later version of Postilla can be found in early printed books from 1522 and 1532. Although all the homilies were published in them, each of them was shortened by about half. The current edition brings both versions. The first volume was already published in 2022, the second now closes the entire edition. These volumes are part of a comprehensive edition of Petr Chelčický´s writings.
