Petr Chelčický, The Postilla I (Collection of Sources on Religious History, vol. 6)
By far the most extensive of all the treatises by Petr Chelčický is his Postilla. The work contains almost sixty sermons, intended for all the Sundays of the church year and also for several other holidays. Unfortunately, the Postilla has not been preserved in its entirety and today we know it in two versions. The earlier of them is contained in a manuscript from the turn of the 16th century and records only the beginning of the liturgical year. A later version of Postilla can be found in early printed books from 1522 and 1532. Although all homilies were published in them, each of them was shortened by about half. The first volume of the edition of the Postilla contains all the texts of the earlier version and next to them the same homilies from the later version. The second volume then will contain all the remaining homilies of the later version. These volumes are part of comprehensive edition of Petr Chelčický´s writings.
